The First Swim of the Season

We finally made it!! I could have sworn it was NEVER going to be warm enough~ but we made it.

Kennedy got to invite her friend, Sacoya. To keep her "occupied" :) We also invited our friends, the Wrights. We had so much fun. The kids are at such a fun age. Everyone still loves to swim. Kennedy had fun with Coya, Louis, Bailey and Breyer played together really well....and the littles had fun crawling around the kiddie pool. Definitely not getting their faces wet ;) So much fun!! I look forward to many days of fun in the sun at the awesome Payson pool!!!!

Just noticed I didn't get pics of most of the little people. They were off having so much fun!! Thanks guys, good times~

A Day Out with Thomas...white trash style

Cole loves Thomas the train. Period the end. Loves him. So, for a long time I've wanted to take the kids to see the Day out with Thomas that they do up in Heber. Ross would never let me justify 25 bucks a ticket to look at a train and go for a 5 second ride on it!! This year, I was bound and determined because Cole loves it so much.

So, we went. We didn't think you had to pay just to walk around. Turns out, you do. But we didn't figure that out until about 2 seconds before we left. So....we went, we saw Thomas, Cole smiled. The end. Free. I don't recommend it, though. We felt like thieves and cheaters the whole time. Good thing Cole's only good for about 4 minutes at any given place!!

Worth every penny!!

The big kids made the choice to get to stay home and do chores and learn how to get along. Poor them. I'm the worst mom ever. Just for the record...first time eVeR I have gone through with the "If you don't knock it off and stop fighting you're staying home and we'll take Cole all alone" threat. Mother of the year, right here :)

Buff

Louis started football camp today. Yep. Officially starting football. Third grade. Pads. Helmets. Tackle. Yep.

On the way, this morning this was our conversation.

Lou: Mom, I wonder who my coach is going to be....I bet he's going to be buff.

Me: Why do you think that?

Lou: Because everyone who knows stuff about football is buff. Like dad. Uncle D-bo. Everyone. Uncle Russell....not so much.
