Good Times

Louis had his "Rain Gutter Regatta" a few weeks ago!! He was so excited to make his boat. Grandpa Don has taken over "construction duties" of all things boy scouts. It's bonding time for them and Grandpa really loves to help! He let Louis pick the design and execute with a little help. It turned out great!

In typical Williams fashion, the race was at the exact time of his game. So his leaders were cool and let him and his team mate come early and race each other. His boat was awesome!! He was sad that he didn't actually get a chance to race, he probably would have cleaned house!! Great job Louis!

Great shot at one of his games. Louis has had the best coach this year. He had Coach Boss a few years ago and was lucky enough to get him again! Louis may not be an all-star baseball player but Coach Boss made him love playing! He said he didn't care if we won or lost by a thousand points as long as the boys had a smile on their face. He used all of their tough moments to teach them what to do next time and patiently watched them lose every single game. Not many coaches can do that at this age. I know it sounds weird, but it made me like him even more! So many of the other coaches that we played were jumping up and down, yelling, swearing and making the boys feel like idiots. Louis does NOT respond to that kind of "coaching" so this was perfect for him!! He had the best time!

Right after a GREAT hit! Standing double against a great team!

What a cutie!

Kennedy decided, once again, to donate her hair to "Locks of Love". She has done it three times now, I think. She looks so grown up and she took these fabulous shots of herself!!

She's special!

Two weeks ago we had BOTH boys tonsils and adenoids removed. I decided, we might as well do recovery at the same time. Wow. It has been a rough two weeks!!! Holy cow. Louis has had a rough time recovering. Really rough!! But they are both doing great and poor Cole's tonsils were almost touching in the back and had sleep apnea. As I was putting him down for his nap today I had to check and see if he was asleep, I couldn't even hear him breathing!!!! It's a miracle!!!

Waiting to get called back to our room.

So cute! Louis was so excited (obviously he had no idea what was coming!!) and Cole was great. He had his blankie and cartoons.

The versed just kicking in. He got a little silly and slap happy.

Lou, just waiting his turn. Right after this, the nurse gave him his "chill out" medication. As soon as it started kicking in, they were getting ready to roll him back to the o.r. and somehow he mentioned to the nurse that his dad had mooned him that morning. (It's a regular occurrence at our home...) So the nurse said, "Well, you better get him back before we head back." So Louis stands up on the bed as they're rolling it away and moons his dad in front of the whole room. It was amazing. I will never forget my loopy son mooning his father....

Keeping a 4 year old entertained during softball/baseball games may kill me. Our friends Tom and Heather have a horse/dog named Dozer. He's the cutest, (slobberiest?), most chill dog ever. I wish I could bring them to every game. Cole was in heaven!!!

This picture does not do this dog justice. He is a ginormous dog. Wow. Huge. The slobber is equally as huge. He is a mastif, I believe. But adorable!

KK's games are getting so fun to watch!! She really is turning into a good little softball player. She plays catcher and is improving a ton! She is actually starting to hit the ball a little too!!

(Don't ask about the socks. It's a softball thing...)

Great hit!!

This is our life.
