It's GREAT to be 8

Well, it's official. I have an eight year old. Yikes!!! The morning started off with a bang. She got a children's scrapbook to do herself and a new CTR ring, ( I think this is her 5th one) and a "laptop". She was so excited! That lasted about 45 seconds. Then we had to quickly have the discussion that even thought it's your birthday, you don't get to be a complete brat and you DO have to do things that you don't want to do, like brush your teeth. Heaven help us all! What is it going to be like when she's a teen? Anywho, after school we are taking her and 4 of her friends and going to see "Enchanted" and to dinner. She's pretty excited.
