I was just browsing through pictures today and I happened upon this picture. We took it about 2 weeks before Christmas in the middle of a HUGE snowstorm. We were taking pictures to tease my sister in law, Andrea. She was coming to visit and LoVes! snow and cold.
But, I just love the way it looks. It's in my favorite time of the year, just quiet and peaceful and pretty. I know it's not perfect or even big or wonderful but it's MY house. The house that my kiddos are growing up in and that we are making OUR memories in. It's just right for us!!
Things I love about my house:
It's in a quiet neighborhood.
We have a park right across the street.
It's ours.
We have wonderful friends and neighbors close by.
I love our basement. I love all of it, but especially our basement. It's where we hang out. It's where almost everything happens in our house.
It's just the right size. We have a bedroom for everyone and a craft room for me. If it were any bigger I wouldn't be able to keep up with it. Imagine another bathroom. Ick.
It just feels right when you turn the corner and lift the garage door, it's just....home.

I sure miss my old house back home.Cuz we build it.
I had it just the way I like it.

It was alot bigger house .
But I do like this one cuz we don't have to do yard work.
we do have free power,gas,water.
Your house is adorable!! I should have had you take us on a tour while we were there :) Thanks again for the great time!! If you get a chance, I would love to have your recipe for the ribs and taters.
