First Ever Dance Competition!!!

A few weeks ago Kennedy was involved in her first dance competition. She and I went up to Kayesville (which by the way is not just in SLC, it's in stinkin' Ogden!!!!!!) and had a great time, with just the girls :) She preformed really well. That girl is just...well...a performer :) She definitely doesn't get it from me!!! She's a great dance and my heart was swollen with pride and love! She's a pretty great kid, I give her a lot of guff...but she gives it right back. When it comes right down to it, she's a good kid who is good at almost everything she tries. It's no not fair!! I thought I had a complex when I was younger...now my kid is better than I am too!!!! :)

I love dance as much as the next mom, but seriously.....we were there for 8 hours and she did two 3 minute dances. She was dying to stay for the awards and the "drill down" but that would have been 4 hours AFTER her last dance. Let's just say.....promising ice cream can get you just about anywhere!! ;)
