We were supposed to be heading down to Price this morning to go to a friends wedding. I had a babysitter all lined up in Price, and we were good to go. Except Ross had to work a graveyard shift last night, which meant, he got home at 6:30 this morning. So, I let him sleep until 9:30 and then went to get him up and got us all ready to go. The kids were in the car, the bags packed, Ross being a good sport about all of this, and just as Ross is getting his shoes on, Kennedy comes in from the car and says, "What's today, mom?" And I said, it's Saturday the 8th. Why? She said, " I'm just wondering why we're going to the wedding today, when it says on the invitation Saturday the 15th?" Shut it. I can not believe I did that. Are you sure? We all checked and double checked. Who does that? After a few good laughs and a lot of dirty looks and probbably thoughts from my husband, we got over it!! Thank goodness for Kennedy, can you imagine if we had gotten all the way to Price, shown up to the church and nothing..... Ross probbably would have killed me. He's taking the whole 3 hours of sleep thing, really well... Oops. Oh well, since we had nothing else planned today, we get to spend it together. There's the silver lining. I would once again like to remind you how organized and on the ball I am. Oh well. We all do stuff like that, right? Please tell me I'm right.
