Yippee!

I finally found a place to print my blog to a book! I have been searching and searching. Everything was either WAY too expensive or didn't work with blogger (huh?) or was too complicated. This is my way of throwing in the towel on "scrapbooking" to keep up, I will still do it for fun, but for the little stuff, this rocks! It's a bit pricey to do the whole thing at once, so I decided to go way back and just do 6 months at a time. Mine was only about $30 bucks for 6 months in one book. It was acutally cheaper to do it with a soft cover, but I decided to go hardcover just for preservation's sake! So go HERE and check it out! Could not have been easier!! Just lettin' you know. Check it out and let me know what you think...I'll let you know how it turns out.

Seriously, it's been a while...

Well, life is crazy! It's good, but busy. I long for the days when I used to wonder what everyone was talking about. 2 little cuties at home to play with and snuggle and watch a movie if we wanted. A preschool class now and then and maybe a trip to Provo if we were feeling adventurous. AAAHH!! I can't keep up. Work is becoming so busy and life is nutso. End of the year programs, 2 baseball teams, work, work, work, house work, a 2 year old. I mean come on people. I only have 2 hands and one set of eyeballs. I am not even going to mention what my house looks like, because that's kind of on the back burner. Scary but true!! So, when I have time to actually make dinner it's kind of nice! I made these yummy suckers the other night to have with homemade cheese and broccoli soup. They were the perfect companion! Yumo!!

Twisty garlic bread. Trust me, they tasted better than they look!!

What am I going to do with Cole? I mean it. He is Houdini!! He can escape any room, contraption, baby proofing item with a flick of his wrist. He actually learned how to unlock the deadbolt today. That was the only thing keeping me sane. I am literally going to have to go get one of those hotel locks and put it up high. Don't laugh, but he has totally known how to open the back sliding door for the longest time and my day was spent closing it and bringing him inside. (you have no idea how embarrassing it is to have your neighbor see your 2 year old outside wandering around outside in a onesie and baseball cap in snow. And that was just while I was going to the bathroom. Yikes) So, don't worry I solved the problem. I have to put an adjustable shower rod (tension rod) between the door and the door jam to keep it closed. I feel like I live in fort knox. No one knows how to open the door with those stupid white twisty handle things. I am trying not to wish his babyhood away, but throw me a bone.

That's the jist of things around here. Me chasing Cole and trying to get everything done in a day. Impossible! So, wish me luck!!

Just thought I would leave you with this little beauty. I spotted it on my way to the gym last week. I happened to have my camera in the car and couldn't pass it up. I love living in southern Utah county. yee haw.

What A Freakin' Loser!!

I seriously, officially, completley can't stand this guy! Last week started my downward spiral of hatred towards Ron. And, then he drops the lying, two-faced thing at Sione and Filipe. What? What? What are you talking about. You just did that to Kristin. You big, freakin', hairy, horrible dude! Wow. I do have strong feelings about this. Especially because of how he treated the Saomon cousins. What a back stabber and a two facer. Yikes. I hope Kristin comes back and kicks his sorry butt back to Scinnectiy.

Other than that, I have no strong opinions on the matter.

And, YES, I watch way too much reality t.v. So sue me.

Why Why Why?

Why is Clint Black still on Celebrity Apprentice. His squinty eyes and bushy eyebrows are killing me. He seriously should have been gone a long time ago. I can't handle him. Am I the only one that even watches this show. I know the entertainment value has gone down since Dennis Rodman left, but come on. There's some seriously talented people here. Melissa Rivers, Annie whatsherface, Brande Posesnaked. I mean, how can you live without this show?

Well, I can't okay. I'm in. I'm sucked in and no way out. I have to know who wins. I have to know if Joan will cry next week. I need to see Jesse's smirk and standoffishness (?) and I need to see if Annie punches Joan. Wouldn't that be funny. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you're missing out. Seriously. I gotta have me some Trump.

And how cute is Jesse James? I'm just saying....

What a lucky girl that Sandra Bullock is. Whew!

Welcome To Our New Blog

I wanted to change our blog to be public so that some more of our friends and family could access it more easily. I changed our blog address to not include our last name and I'm going to keep it out of the new one, just because of Ross' job. Let's just keep it on the down low!! Thanks for taking our last name off of your side bar. Hope you find this alright, just let me know. Enjoy!! Let me know if you have any problems with this!!!!!

IMPORTANT: Will you please leave me a comment letting me know you're here! Thanks, Emily

Eastery Goodness

Friday night my parents had their "Easter egg hunt" for the grand kids. Most of us made it and had a great time! Funny how it takes hours to fill the eggs and lots of money to buy the candy and a while to hide the eggs and it's over in like 5 seconds!! Oh well. The kids had a blast. It's always fun to chase them around and see who gets what and where the tricky eggs are hidden. My dad's yard is an egg hunt mecca. It's awesome. Plenty of places to hide the eggs and usually every year there are a few they find in the summer that were hidden really well!!!

It took Cole a few minutes to figure out what to do. He kept throwing the eggs out of his basket when he got a new one. He finally figured it out and had fun!

Here's the only decent picture I got of the kids that made it! Pretty cute bunch!

At our house we have "Easter Saturday" when the Easter bunny comes and we have "Easter Sunday" when we go to church and learn about Jesus and more about what Easter really means! It works for us!!

Here's what the Bunny left for the kids...

KK with some of her loot. She loves sidewalk chalk. She's quite the artist!

Cole just liked the eggs. He would dump out the treats onto the floor and play with the eggs. I should have known.

Louis. It's hard to get a good picture of this kid. He's always making a face. Good thing he's cute!~
Well, more to come. Hope you all have a wonderful Easter. Be safe.

I *heart* Rain

I just thought I would let you all know that I love rain! I'm not ashamed to admit it. I really love it. It's cozy and beautiful and it is always so peaceful to me. And the smell. Get outta' town.
Plus, it makes everything shiny and green (kind of)!! Yea rain!

seriously...

Does anyone else want to punch this guy as much as I do??

For a while I was falling for his "poor me, bad knee, bad leg, bad shoulder, bad body" game. But, no. Not anymore. I am SO OVER Ron. Not that he cares, but I digress. He is playing the victim, poor weak ron so well that I think he might actually win. I can't wait for the week that he goes below the yellow line. Then, maybe some vindication for Sione. I'm just saying. Yeah, he needs to lose the weight, but he also needs to lose the additude and the "Godfather" act. Ron, you lost a fan and gained a slap happy enemy. AARGH!!

Yea! He's Here!!

I just wanted to say "Congratulations" to our friends Bill and Andy Shipley (and Trey). Andy had their little baby last night. 3 weeks early!! She had him by csection and there were a few complications but all is well and Andy and baby are doing well. They named him Brevin!! For those of you who don't know Andy, she has been trying to have another baby for 7 years. Finally, miraculously, she found out she was pregnant this last summer! They are the cutest family and deserve this sweet little addition! Can't say enough how excited we are for the Shipleys!!! Congratulations guys!

I Love A Good Book!

Do you ever find yourself reading a GOOD book? The kind where you can't put it down. Where, you take it everywhere you go, just in case you have a half of a minute to get into it? The kind where you wake up at night thinking about it? The kind you have dreams about because you feel so involved in it? That's how this book was for me!!

I loved this book!! Intense!! Love Story!! Good writing!! Yeah, it has it all. Just thought I 'd let you know what's been consuming my life latley. Now I'm back!!!

Shirley J

So, I'm offically a Shirley J Home Chef Franchisee (?)!! Yippee. So, if you need any of this stuff or would like to do a Home Party to get to taste a bunch of yummy food and no pressure to buy, just a learning environment, let me know! I'm excited to spread the word and share the love!

By the way, I made my first batch of Honey Whole Wheat bread yesterday!! Oh my, yummy! Can I just say? Don't you just love the way your house smells when you're baking bread. The kids and hubby loved it and I felt very domestic. Kind of like I should be wearing a pretty apron, with a nice pair of heels and pearls and doting over my family. Well...kind of. Anyway, pretty proud of myself. I completley forgot to take pictures. I'm so proud!!

Seriously, though. The home party for Shirley J is not a pressure sell situation (coughTupperwarecough). Just kind of an informative meeting to learn about the products and taste them. You can definitley order them for sure, and there are definite benefits to hosting a party!! Let me know. But, seriously, don't stop answering your phone when I call, I'm not going to bug you about it.
